Apple is holding a press conference on Friday to acknowledge flaws with the iPhone 4. I think we can expect to see Steve get up, take responsibility for the obvious hardware problems and offer something to customers that have encountered issues with their new iPhones.

An integral art of Apple’s marketing appeal is maintaining integrity with its customers. If that integrity is broken, the enduring trust Apple has established with customers will be severely tarnished and Steve does not want that to happen.

Apple’s trust with customers = flawless technology products with superior usability traits. Steve, of course, knows this and has shown a willingness to acknowledge an honest mistake when in the past.

Apple has made a product with a technical flaw. This, coming from a company that makes perfect products. They will take responsibility and make unhappy customers happy once again. We’ll see what form it takes.
